Side Effects Itchy; nervous but at least I am not depressed; more focused, although sometimes on the wrong things
Comments I recently read that levoampetamine is an ingrediant of adderall and that it can cause depression rather than euphoria. Does anyone know this?

Side Effects Weight loss
Comments This is a miracle drug. Raised my GPA from 1.0 in high school to a 4.2. Now as an adult, It helps me get through some mind numbing tasks as well. I find no downside to the medication, since i needed the weight loss as I am overweight.

Side Effects dry mouth, loss of appitite, can't sleep .
Comments I take adderall every now and again for school,to do chores and FEEL HAPPY. I don't feel happy because i feel "high". I feel happy because I can actually accomplish things that need to be done, instead of procrastinating everything and getting stuck in a bad moods. I can still feel sad about things and thoughts, but its different, I can get over it. When I'm not on Adderall I always sit there and think "ugh i have to go do this then that", on Adderall instead of waisting my time dreading things, I actually go do them. Lifting up all the stress I have. Also, I do better in school. I'm excited to do my homework bc I actually learned in school, and then I want to apply it, I finally know the answers, so homework is easy.

Side Effects decreased appetite, Extreme concentration on any given task to the point of loosing track of time, I sleep well but only 3-4hours/day.
Comments I feel this is a very affective medication, I completely understand the danger if not taken as prescribed but it too bad that addicts have to ruin it for people like me who benefit greatly from it. Its very hard for me to get it without an argument from some stupid 14 year old Pharmacy tech. They cant' seem to get it straight that I am prescribed both the extended release (30mg/once daily) and the quick release (also 30mg) three times a day. I realize that Its a lot to most people but I've been on it so long I don't even have those dangerous symptoms anymore (racing heart-rate etc.) they always think its to soon to fill because I picked up the XR a week earlier, they always want to verify it with my doctor, or make me wait a few more days. I finally started using multiple pharmacies to blend more easily and to avoid the confrontation every time like some kind of common Rx Drug seeker. Sometimes even the actual pharmacist questions it just because in his opinion I am prescribed to much. Isn't that none of their business? Obviously my doctor would not prescribe that much if he thought my system couldn't handle it! Its getting worse too as the government keeps cracking down. The latest crackdown: now my doctor has to right on the hardcopy "Please fill 30 days from the above date" on the 2nd months' script. God forbid I'm near the pharmacy on the 29th day and want to save time by picking it up then, nope its not happening. Unbelievable, it was only a short 2 years ago they weren't aloud to post-date the script, now they have to?? I don't get it. If I was an addict I'd be dead by now after 7 years so obviously I have this under control.

Side Effects Euphoric sensation, loss of appetite, dry mouth, and extreme concentration.
Comments I bought a 20 mg Adderall pill from a friend of mine a few weeks ago. It worked wonders! The entire day I felt like my body was vibrating with this unusual, happy sensation and I was extremely quick to answer questions for my Spanish exam, which i got a 97 on. I also went the entire day without eating a thing! I didn't have problems with sleeping, also. That day I took Adderall was probably the best school day of the year. My friend gets her prescription filled on the 1rst of June, I'm so excited! Just in time for finals.

Side Effects see below (more than 150 chars)
Comments -Intense Concentration -Suppressed Appetite/Weight Loss -Grinding Teeth -Dizziness/Fainting (vasodepressor syncope) -Induced Obsessive Compulsive Symptoms -Increased Body Sweating -Increased Heart Rate -Increased Blood Pressure -Paranoia I have been taking Adderall for almost ten years. When I was in school, and working, it was a major milestone in my performance (in an extremely positive way.) I can not fathom thinking about a day without it. When I go a day without taking any, it is extremely hard to get out of bed and "get going." I have developed a dependency on the drug. Several years ago my doctor suddenly Stopped my prescription to Adderall, and that was one of the worst experiences of my life. I had to go see another doctor who put me on narcalepsy medication to try to get me "going" again. Didn't work. I eventually found a great psychiatrist and he put me back on Adderall and closely monitored my dosage. Adderall is a wonderful medication. Just be careful and don't take too much. If you have a highly addictive personality (drugs, alcohol, etc) please use with caution and do not "experiment" while on this medication. Adderall works Wonders, and I recommend it to anyone who needs it for ADD. (NOT ADHD)

Side Effects bad headaches in the afternoon, biting the inside of my mouth and I have to remember to drink enough water. I think it makes me sweat more than usual.
Comments Usually I don't feel side-effects, because I've been on it for so long. What I do notice is when I don't take it (like if I wake up too late on a Saturday) I feel really hungry all day. Then i say, "I didn't take my adderall today." But I am not thin and when taking it I eat regularly. The anxiety is tough because it's difficult to determine if I'm anxious bc I'm ADD and my thoughts are all over the place, or if I'm more anxious while on adderall bc I'm using a stimulant. I used to take a 20mg XR each morning followed by a 10mg regular at lunch. Now I'm just doing the 20mg and I have to take it early in the day so I sleep well at night.

Side Effects when stimulated, higher concentration and social fluidity when "recovering", low-medium depression and tiredness
Comments adderal should definitely not be taken every day keeping in par with the idea that "moderation" is the key. taking something every day is not moderation, even if that's what your doctor prescribes. spacing out consumption of adderall would be an intelligent choice, minimizing any sort of side-effects and also maximizing the effect of the dose. but, if you feel addicted, ask yourself if you are weak or strong repeatedly. then, continue telling yourself that you are strong and don't waiver in that choice.

Side Effects Intense focus, lack of hunger, hard time sleeping, sometimes distracting thoughts.
Comments Adderall can be a great study guide as well as a way to just ease the mind into an activity, but it has some serious drawbacks such as occasional anxiety, your teeth grind, and sleeping becomes difficult. Finally, sometimes it doesn't even help that much, because you'll end up focusing on the wrong thing entirely.
